The area felt like a war zone. People (like myself) wandered around the streets, not knowing where to go or what to do. People had blank, white stares on their faces, and no one said a word. The trains and public transportation were out of service, so I hitch-hiked to the closest obtainable spot to my car. Cops were trying to direct people and cars, but it clearly wasn't working.
